My work is quick. Quick in its marks, quick in its method, quick in its legibility. The pace is set by my own mental mania and matched by the industrial materials I explore. It is within this immediacy that I have found a language for loss. The concerns I am most interested in addressing in my studio at this time are the challenges of translation, the weight of empty nostalgia, and the violence of not knowing what has really been stolen from us.

B.B. PRESS

Started in 2016 in San Francisco California. B.B Press originally Burnt Press was started as a way to keep hands busy and share all the photos I had been shooting.

By the fourth release B.B.P had began collaborating and releasing zines with other artists. Truly the reason we are still making zines.

We have published zines with Amanda Wong, Casey Jones, Foie Gras, GOODBOYEVIL, LunchGSB, Adam Void, Sparkle Dazey, John Jr., Morgan DE, Luser Yuth, Magasama, Victimless Crime Unit and The SF Skateclub.

We have co-published with Goodmother Gallery, Artprimo SF, Outlaw Press and Yesway Press in the Bay Area, California. As well as Super Ediciones Pisma and Crater Invertido in Mexico City.
